Recommendations for what to do with shed antlers, go.

Can they be used for magic? Weapons? Something like that. I've heard they can make good chew toys for carnivores.

And before anyone asks: they are mine, not some deer in the woods. I did not go hunting down something and take its antlers.

Alright, folks, one more question:

What's your favorite food that doesn't include meat? I want to try some new things and am getting bored of the same-old.

Try to make room for a good long walk at least once a week - they need exercise as much as we do! Oh, and their ears say a lot about them - if they're up, they're interested! If they start leaning back, they're scared or angry - either way, you gotta pay attention!

And they're sure not choosy when it comes to food, so keep an eye out for your own food - even a trained dog gets tempted to snatch! I can't tell you how many sandwiches I've lost when my back is turned...

That is in line with what is standard for my world's deer.

I would stick with the knife, or else you will have to store and wait for more. You could also drill holes in it and create a curtain hook.

Ah, sorry... lost my sense of where I am for a second. Back home, conjurers, our world's primary magic-using healers, use weapons made of natural materials like wood, so as to better channel their aether. I suppose my thought was that discarded horn would be similarly effective, seeing as it came off a living creature. But I don't think that holds up here.

Do you just have a pair of shed antlers sitting around every year, then? It doesn't hurt, does it?

[ Compromising position his ass. It doesn't take him long to bandage up his head because, well, he's done it many times before and it gives him plenty of time to make sure there's no BLOODY ANTLERS laying around the house. Or like anything else that would constitute a mess. He's dressed in nice slacks; however, is wearing a hoodie over top of his shirt. Big, baggy, comfortable. And it's nice and warm, which is perfect considering he's sensitive to cold.

I think for people here, after you hop across dimensions or whatever, a walking and talking deer isn't the strangest thing you see in a day.

That's what I heard. I've never had it before.

We usually properly dispose of them at home. We wouldn't keep them since they are organic material, but this city doesn't exactly have an entire population of antlered animals who also happen to talk and be bipedal.

I do shed them yearly. It doesn't really hurt when they fall off, just itches a little bit. It's kind of like if you were going to scrape your knee.
