My friend doesn’t eat meat so I’d like try making some stuff for him. You know, just something new to try.

Hello, I'm vegetarian and I've had to make most of my meals myself since arriving there, ahaha! There really isn't much around in the way of vegetarian stuff, but I guess that makes sense. Most of the reasons we have to go vegetarian back home don't really apply to this world.

Anyway, I can send you the recipes I have if you'd like.

Also, it let's me brush up on my own skills. I had a late friend's cookbook back home and he made learning to cook really fun and easy, so I'd like to keep it up.

Things are always more fun with friends. Mhm! Maybe once all of this is over, you'll be able to surprise your friend with stuff even he doesn't know, ahaha!

Anyway, I'll send you the recipes but it may take time for me to write them down. I have a place I go to for meat substitutes, too. It's a bit out of the way and a lot more expensive than regular stuff, so I can't recommend it for everyday's cooking.

No rush, I appreciate you doing this. And we'll worry about the price later, it's good to know there's something out there regardless. If it means spending a little more, that's okay.

Besides, it's only meat he can't have, from what I remembered back on the other world we were in. Animal adjacent stuff like milk and honey and stuff seem to be okay.

That is really kind of you to help your friend out. My roommate has taught me a couple of vegan recipes some time ago: he thought that it would help me out in widening my culinary capabilities as well as a great way to bond with each other. I can even share some of them to you today.

Louis and I knew each other from another world we were in before Camelot, so we've already bonded. It was just that a late friend of ours was the one who did most of the cooking before.

That is good to hear. I have some of the recipes that my roommate has taught me in my smartphone’s notes app, so it would be easier to look into on the smartphone.

I happen to love the Lentil Chili and the Stuffed Shells a lot.

Then I'll try making those first. The Stuffed Shells looks like it would be especially tasty. You can't really go wrong with a pasta dish. :)

I've made it my business to try a lot of foods around here, and I've been here a while, so that's a lot of food!

Here's some recipes that should be simple to make for someone who's never cooked them before. Let me know what you think.

[Your definition of 'a few' needs work. But Minato isn't complaining. He's a hefty eater so even if Louis couldn't finish or didn't like some of it, Minato would help with that.]

I've been making my rounds here myself. There's definitely a lot more variety than I expected.

These definitely look good though, I'm a fan of curry so those would probably be the ones to try first. I'll need to find out how he is with spices though.

Both. He can eat milk and honey and stuff, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try something without animal anything as well? He's an herbivore.

Well, if milk or fat is still fine, I can think of plenty of vegetarian stews! The roux would need butter or cream, but the broth could be made from something like mushrooms or celery!

I don't think I've made a stew before, but I'm certainly down to try. I've learned how to make vegetable stock too. Guess I'll just have to experiment on which tastes better.

There's tons of different ingredients and spices you can experiment with, too!

But, ah, you know what the best part of stew is?
