So, who else completely ignored the little wisps and stayed back? I noticed a few people helping clean places, but I'm curious how many actually managed to power through their antics.

[He's leaning on a broom, since he's been tasked to clean places at the inn... they sure made a mess there, too while trying to get otherworlders there to follow.]

I definitely feel like I wouldn't be much help wherever they led us, since I don't have any skills with weapons and my magics are both support ones. Maybe I should learn how to fight just to be a little more useful?

[He shrugs.]

Does anyone else ever feel like they're better off staying back at Camelot whenever something happens?

I'll be the first one to admit that I'm not used to cleaning.

I'm no better... being here is the first time I've had to do anything for myself like this.

I had servants most of my life... and a neat freak as a roommate after that.

[Who did make Ren clean occasionally but when he was too lazy or too slow he took over and did everything himself.]

I just learn to appreciate the servants back at my castle more. Maybe I'll give them a raise...

Mm. So did I- the servants, that is. But... doing things on my own- somehow it feels nicer.

We could give them time off... I don't mind cleaning up for you. I'm in your chambers enough anyway...

I don't hate it, but I do think I'll leave most cleaning to others.

That could also work... even if I'd rather do other things with you rathe than look at you clean.

Really? If you're certain... the kind ladies that work with me said if I cleaned around you wearing a certain uniform, you'd enjoy it. But the skirt was too short... and if I wore that, I might be indecent.

Your coworkers say interesting things, love... though it's true that I would certainly enjoy it quite a bit.

[Not as much as some people who go crazy over maids, but still.]

But I wouldn't want you to wear anything you feel uncomfortable in.

I'm glad. I know mortals tend to be more reserved about such affections, so it is quite adorable to see! Foxkind will just enjoy all they want with their mates, no matter where. It can be a bit troublesome at times...

Having fighting skills doesn’t mean you’re obligated to go. I see no problem staying behind, especially if you know you’ll be a hindrance rather than a boon.

Of course it doesn't. Frankly, it's better if there are some who are able to fight back here, too. Who knows what could happen.

I've done some fake fighting for acting purposes, but not really anything that I've thought about using in a real fight.

Your family or school seriously didn't teach you any martial arts for self-defense? Because sometimes that works even much better than any magic or weapons.

No. I went to an idol school. There weren't any classes like that back there unless someone wanted to get into action films a lot. I didn't.

[Sure, sure, idols could get kidnapped or something, but they believed in the power of security guards.]

And my family didn't care what I did.

Going to an idol school should be all the more reason for taking classes like that, or I mean, they really should teach them to everyone there and not just for those, who want to do action films. What if you get attacked somewhere alone and don't even know how to fight?? That's just stupid from them. Either way, no one's saying you can't get some lessons here.

We have plenty of security when we go somewhere. It just hasn't been necessary.

I guess I should. I tried to learn how to use swords back in Lunatia but lost interest quickly.

You say that as if plenty of security means, that someone can't attack them first and possibly get to you after beating them because that's not impossible either.

[And it doesn't only happen in action films!!]

You absolutely should. Never tried those myself, weapons aren't really my thing but I can get you started with some martial arts, though I want to learn more of them myself too.
