Okay, so this is the coolest place I've seen.

You guys, like, really live like this? How do you heat a house when it's attached to a tree? Isn't that, like, a fire hazard?

( look, they didn't teach her much about nature back in Dewell but they did teach her that trees = wood = burn-y. )

Oh, so, um, funny story! I was, like, scrolling while I was on my way here and ended up with a job selling bags! ( ah. there's the reason this video's happening. Rosa moves the camera back to her to reveal a handbag in, well, her hand. )

I've got a buncha 'em still for sale so, like, tell me which you want! Otherwise they're gonna get — ( her words are cut off by a shrill yelp as a giant blob of water drops down her neck. ugh, cold. so cold. ) — soaked! Like me, okay, byeeeeeeee!

( yeah, a girl's gotta turn this off and find a place to hide from all this rain. )

They'd have to destroy most of the island to make roads for cars. There are more fairies than humans here and they like their homes more than convenience. Doesn't make it any less annoying how long it takes to get to Elphame though.

Not even hovercars? I know they're, like, expensive, but wouldn't that solve the problem?

I don't know enough about hovercars to tell you either way. My world has a totally different fuel source and only a handful of kingdoms.

Eh? ( Man. Does anyone know tech here? ) Tell me about them! Like, what kinda fuel do you use? Not electric?

Dust. It's like.. elemental crystals. Fire, ice, lightning, wind, gravity, and stuff. You want to fly, you use gravity dust. You want to go by steam, fire and water. There's magic too but it's... [ She hesitates for the briefest minute before letting out a puff of breath. ] More trouble than it's worth.

( H u h. That's absolutely miles from how her world worked. Rosa seems to need a minute to consider that. )

So... does that mean magic and, like, life are integrated? Kinda like this place?
