Or perhaps "was" is more accurate. It's the same building, definitely, but with a few small changes here and there. Most notably, there's a new sign hanging above the door reading "Moondrop", and a NOW HIRING! INQUIRE WITHIN poster in one of the windows.

Tsumugi smiles at the camera, warm with just the tiniest hint of nerves - but he's okay, really! He's just not used to being filmed like this! (because yes, someone is absolutely helping him here, he wouldn't be able to maintain a visible feed on his own...) ] Hello, everyone. If this is our first time meeting, then allow me to introduce myself. My name's Tsumugi Tsukioka.

[ He bows slightly, then continues. ] Those who knew her might already be aware, but last month, Aerith Gainsborough went back home. She owned the flower shop you see behind me, [ A small gesture with his hand. ] and in her absence, I've been entrusted with its care.

So I would like to announce that as of today, we're officially reopening as Moondrop. We still specialize in flowers, but we're now offering a wider selection of starter plants and gardening supplies. There's also a budding cafe space upstairs, if ever you're in the area and need a moment to unwind.

[ And, speaking of unwinding... his smile relaxes. ] Thank you for listening, and I hope to see you soon.

Thanks for all your help, Kazu-kun. [ He looks to the store behind him, before reaching his hand out toward him - perhaps for his phone, or perhaps to hold his. ] I might've been able to manage on my own, but it's probably for the best that you filmed for me...

[ tsumugi don't talk about this like it's absurdly complicated. how do you manage ]

[Kazunari beams. And while he knows Tsumugi is most likely holding his hand out for his phone, he gives him his hand instead like asking a puppy to shake hands. In his defense, though, he wants to make sure the video is uploaded to the network properly so Tsumugi's not getting his phone back until thats done.]

Of course bb!! You know I'm always happy to help! And you did great!

[Aaand okay, now he returns his phone.]

[ While maybe not his intention, Tsumugi is content to let their fingers naturally lace together. ]

I know, but still... I really do appreciate it. [ And he'll show said appreciation with a soft cheek kiss before he leads them inside. ] I just hope I did enough.

Were you two close?

I'm sure she'll be glad to know her shop is in good hands.

Well...I'm not sure I can say we were close, exactly. [ He didn't want to assume they were closer than they actually were. ] But we did talk pretty frequently. I'd helped her clear out some of the space for the patio she'd wanted to set up where people could sit and visit for a while.

That's really kind of you! Knowing her, I'm sure she was grateful for your friendship. [ But there's no way either of them will know, really, unless she comes back and tells them herself. And Tsumugi has no way of knowing how likely it is for that to happen.

Before he thinks too deeply about that, he continues. ] Let me know if you ever want to come by. I'll treat you to a drink. [ ... can ducks drink coffee...??? ]

I've never exactly given it a try. I do know a thing or two about flower language and what flower would go well with what... but I haven't exaclty looked into bouquets more than that.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I'd be happy to teach you what I know. It's really the only artsy sort of thing I'm good at, besides acting.

[ And even then, he knows there's a lot still to learn. But it's exciting, not daunting, to think of that. ]

I'm still setting up some parts of the shop, if you'd like to help with that? It's mostly moving things around. [ aka something he'd struggle with alone with his weak eggy arms ]

( well, he isn't quite as strong as he was when he was a Food Soul proper, but he's quite capable of manual labour, especially now that he's remembering that this human afflicted body needs to eat. )

Ahaha... [ A valid question. Tsumugi rubs the back of his neck. ] Well, I know it'll be hard in the beginning. I've never done anything quite like this before, so I might have to focus more on Moondrop for a while. [ He's got a good head on his shoulders, and now accounting experience because of Sakyo's temporary departure, but he's not foolish enough to think that alone will make him successful. There's more to running a business than making sure numbers balance out.

But-- ] But I want to do both. [ He can't give up on his passion. His love. ] I'll just need to find my footing.

The more responsibilities you juggle, the harder it'll be. Ambition is a good motivator but you have to remember you're not a machine. I know you're got theater in the brain just like everyone else but you've got that extra something in you. I'd dare to call it obsession, but I'm not here to critique.

[ With that thought in mind thought Sakyo's not at all worried about Tsumugi up and leaving Kaika Company to dry. He'll absolutely still try to pull his weight. Its just a matter that he's got a business to run too. He's going to have his hands full for sure. ]

Well, suppose its a good thing the theater hasn't scheduled anything yet. That'll give you more time to figure things out. The director shouldn't have a problem letting you do your own thing for a while, and I'm here for accounting advice, if needed.

[The stern-faced man definitely looks... taken aback by the offer, though not necessarily in a bad way. Is he ever going to get used to kindness simply being offered to him out of nowhere by complete strangers? Ah... probably not.

Aerith and I were only passingly acquainted but she managed to make an impression on me regardless. Will you be offering the same kind of advice that she was able to?

It's nice to finally meet you, Todoroki-kun. I'm pretty sure we've seen each other in passing before. [ It's possible, at least. Maybe on a busier day at the shop, when there were a lot of orders to fulfill and it was all hands on deck, making arrangement after arrangement, with Aerith at the helm of the metaphorical ship.

He brushes away his own wave of sadness, and offers a kind smile. ] I'd be very grateful for your help. Though... would you rather stay a volunteer? I'd be more than happy to hire you, but I also understand if you have other things going on.
