[ The young woman that appears on the screen (filming from a park, it seems) seems pretty calm (and probably 4-5 years older than she did last time she appeared here). It's been a few days since some of the new arrivals turned up, so she may be late to the party, but there's a reason. Katara has some practice at this, and she's ready with her questions. She looks a little bit tired, but she's smiling politely. ]

Hello to anyone watching this right now. My name is Katara, and I'm one of the new arrivals. I just have a few questions I'd like to ask.

[ She pauses, consideringly, then frowns and brings a hand to her chin thoughtfully. ]

Some of them are going to sound pretty strange, so please bear with me, but... Here goes... My first question is: Have I been here before?

[ It doesn't appear that she's joking in the slightest, looking calmly into the camera. ]

My next question is: Are there any... strange catches about living here? Or- maybe useful things I should know that might not have already been recently addressed? Anything weird about the moons-- [ And here she waves a hand Jazz Hands style for emphasis. ] --or any taboos to avoid angering the locals or gods? ARE there gods here?

[ She looks surprisingly calm for someone asking all these questions, though her expressions do shift accordingly because let's be honest, even she knows how absurd this would sound if none of the above weirdness applies. Her smile turns a bit apologetic then. ]

[ Well, that's one weight momentarily off of her shoulders. If it were anyone else she wouldn't believe him, and she still doesn't take him at face value, obviously, but if he says he's alright then at least it means that for now he's not on the brink of an emotional collapse. In her eyes, anyway. Zuko had struggled with just as much emotional baggage- if not far more -than anyone else in their group.

Katara offers up another small smile, but seems unsure about accepting the invitation. Still not sure what to do with her hands. She'll just fold them over her chest at first, then think better of it and gesture for Momo to catch a ride on her shoulder- unless he'd rather perch on Zuko. ]

Oh, sure? We should probably talk anyway. I don't know about you, but I think comparing notes might be a good idea?

[ Momo accepts her gesture readily, seeming in fact rather eager for her. Zuko's great and all, but... Momo's not his. He's being the best lemur-uncle he can be but he's no Katara. Momo misses everyone even more than Zuko does. ]

Yeah... There's— a lot to catch up on...

[ An uncomfortable hand searches to idly rub at his neck, body language reading a little more awkward yet, throwing his gaze aside. He's not sure what to expect. He's not sure what he wants to share. He certainly wasn't expecting this today. He took a break from his homework to check the network absentmindedly, and then, bam, Katara. He raises his eyes to meet hers again and inclines his head back the way he came. ]

Let's go. It's not far.

[ Well, at the very least this level of awkward is familiar. Katara is accustomed to Zuko being socially awkward at least. He gets straight to the point most of the time though, for better or worse, and it's serving them well enough right now.

Putting aside her own conflicted feelings for now makes it easy to follow Zuko's lead, meeting his gaze and trying for reassuring, but probably failing. ]

So... did I hear you right before? You know what moonblessings are?

[ She should wait until they've gotten to his place, but as she falls into step beside him Katara can't contain that curiosity even as something tries to caution her against asking. Her chest feels tight at bringing Lunatia back to the forefront of the conversation because her last memory of the place was dancing with Seifer in the moonlight of their room. ]

[ He falls into step with her in turn, keeping his eyes either forward or letting them drift to the side or to the ground most of the way. His tone is tempered, but his slightly knotted brow betrays some of his conflicted feelings about Lunatia... which, he too, isn't so keen to talk about. ]

Uh— Yeah. You asked about weird moons— there is something recent, something strange that happens on full moons to some people, a curse of sorts, but... other than that, there is only one moon, and it's typically pretty normal. Our powers aren't linked to it as far as I know.

[ He's trying to be a good guide to Avalon, but he's missing the forest for the trees with this question, a bit. But even if he doesn't connect the dots, his answer is still telling. ]

[ As they walk for her part Katara can't quite stop watching him with a somewhat concerned furrow of her own brow, and she's not even entirely sure what's fueling it, herself. Worry? The amount of time since she'd seen him last (both at home and in Ourana)? The complicated memories of the nature of their relationship? Curiosity? The explanation gives her something to focus on though, and she's not sure how to feel about *that* either.

She does give a semi-long suffering sigh, though, in the end, folding her arms without dropping their pace. ]

Well, it's better than being stripped completely powerless, but... I'd just gotten used to having my bending back in its entirety, and now it's magic? I'll bet Sokka had a field day with that irony.

[ Despite the implied complaint she says it with a small, lopsided smile to indicate that she's mostly joking.

But then her expression shifts back into that worried look again. She's been slowly working up the courage to ask, and now, almost tentatively-- ]

Is... is Lunatia the only place you remember, aside from home?
