[February 6th comes and goes, and with it Jiro Yamada's birthday. Now both of Ichiro's brothers' birthdays have passed without him being there.

Despite them being frozen in time, Ichiro still feels like he's losing time with them. And it's coming out in his inability to cook for one person.]

i haven't posted to the network in a minute so - yo, this is yamada ichiro.

i made way too much curry recently. like three teenage boys worth of curry, and i can't eat all of it myself. if you want any come by room # at the inn.

[ She thinks about it for a second, and decides to accept it as a challenge.

As an expert thief and illusionist (and technically, a spy) before she even had light magic here in Avalon, she's pretty sure she could break into his home and knock him out from behind easy-peasy. It wouldn't be the first time she's taken someone down without giving them a chance to ever get a hit in, and since she doesn't know what this guy is capable of and he could literally be some kind of creep luring people to his apartment with free food, she's going for it.

..Though she's not intending on taking him out-out, if he's really got curry, she might just sit on his back and eat curry so he can't get up until she lets him. That's the plan anyway.

Once she gets to the address he gave her, she puts up an illusional replica of the environment around and behind her on the side of the door that opens, so she's essentially invisible so long as he doesn't walk into her. She's got her back pressed against the wall, so it should be okay. She knocks on the door and waits for him to open it, intent on either slipping past him when she does or catching the door with her foot to slip in after him once he gives up without seeing anyone. ]

[If only Ichiro were just some creep luring people to his apartment with food. Although even if he were, he would still be immediately suspicious upon opening the door and seeing no one there.

But he might not have the sense to swing his arm out when the door catches on something when he tries to close it again. Ichiro's dealt with a lot of bullshit though, so the sense is there and he moves on instinct.

He swings his arm out then raises it to block his face.]

[ The advantage of only being 5'7" with her heels on is that it's not as hard to duck out of the way of the arm of a 6'1" guy. The fact her partner was around 6'1" to 6'2" for the majority of their time when they had nothing better to do than spar with each other while they waited for orders-- the better part of the last year of Emerald's life-- was just bad luck on Ichiro's part.

She slips in past him while he's blocking his face, carefully pressed against the wall, before kicking the door a little to give the impression of someone bumping into the door while they ran away. He seems like he's not a stupid guy, so hopefully that'll give him a bit of hope that she's gone. ]
