so what did all of you do, anyways?

before you showed up here, i mean. were you just some no-name loser or were you some kind of big shot? i bet it must have sucked if you went from people listening to you and then ending up at the bottom of the food chain!

or are you getting a huge ego boost from this place calling you some sort of hero that's vital to saving all the different worlds out there? does it make you feel important? more then you would have at home, where nothing you did mattered? lol

this gig isn't too different from what i was up to before, honestly. the quests are a bit lower stakes and some of them are so easy it almost makes you want to cry, and i've got way more free time now. still, kind of nice to know there's always room for a weapon. gets you some decent money.

technically what i was doing was helping my Master stop the end of all humanity, so uh. yeah similar stakes, i guess.

still, at least it means you’re not out of your depth! except for having to learn this new magic and where your limits are now.

eh, i can deal with that, too. i got lucky and gained elemental magic, and fire is already a kindred element for me.

that being said, u could also say i was previously in the middle of conquering japan, since that was what i was doing before i became a Heroic Spirit. of course that ended with me dying so. lol.

i was betrayed by one of my vassals, cornered into Honnou-ji, a temple, that was set on fire.

rather than give that bastard the gratification, i took my own life, and let the inferno consume me, my legend soaring into the sky on the embers of those flames.
