Hello, I was hoping to be able to get the help of a few people in regards to the special ice cream being asked about on the marketboard. I wanted to use healing magic for it but I've never tried applying it into an object, since I'm used to healing people just by touching them. It might be a little bit of trial and error but I guess if it doesn't work out well the worst that will happen is you get to eat normal ice cream.

[ And that isn't so terrible is it? Unless you don't even like ice cream. And whats wrong with you if you do?! ]

Since the magic would be healing in nature I'd like to request volunteers that need something of that sort, for example, if you feel fatigued or under the weather in any regard. If you're sick that's fine but please let me know. I live with other people and would rather not have them get sick too. And of course, if the ice cream doesn't work, I'll heal your illness normally.

I’ve never tried medicinal/enchanted ice cream before. It would be worth a shot.

I have a persistent cough since I have stopped smoking, along with some other symptoms of withdrawal. I am not sick. Do you think you could try targeting that?

I’ve also been a sort of guinea pig to a lot of dangerous and experimental dishes, so I’m not concerned about any errors.

But I can definitely see what I can do for you. Congratulations on quitting. That's a very nasty habit so I know how difficult it can be to stop.

[ And actually now that he thinks about it, he wonders if it'd be possible to apply his magic to candy to help with the urges or at least ease the cough. I mean anti-smoking gum exists and all already. Hmm, maybe that's worth trying too. ]

You're a perfect candidate then. I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well but I'll do what I can to fix that. Its so easy to get sick with all this cold weather and I imagine all the rain isn't helping either.

This will be my first attempt at making homemade ice cream so hopefully its to your liking. I wouldn't feel right disappointing your sweet tooth.

But I won't decline your help if its needed in the future. I don't mind making more ice cream like this so I can keep practicing using my healing magic. Maybe I can try it with other flavors. The request was for malt chocolate but do you like any other flavors of ice cream? I can make a note of it.

The other magic I have is animal magic and I don't even know how to use that on other people, and even if I did, I'm not sure if I'd want to make magic ice cream that turns people into animals.

[ Not particularly helpful. Also pointless if you're already animal-like. ]

I thought about trying it on something small first, just to make sure I can focus the magic into something in the first place. I bought some malt balls and cherries so I plan to put the healing magic in those for starters to see if it'll stick. The next problem to handle afterward is obviously the testing out part.

Yeah I can't use my other magic for the ice cream either. Although it might be fun if you were able to enchant the ice cream to let people temporarily understand what animals are saying.

Oh, that's a good way to try it. I was thinking of maybe trying to see if I can make something like a potion to mix into the ice cream.

I actually didn't think about that.

[ Which would really come in handy seeing as no one he lives with has animal magic, so turning into an animal but them not being able to understand him can be a hassle. Hmm... its worth a try in the future. ]

Potions are also a good option, as long as its something that mixes well with the ice cream. I sort of wish I still had alchemy so I could've created something easily that way but it seems my magic always changes. Its kind of annoying.

I'm not sure how good I'd be at teaching since I'm trying this out for the first time and all but I wouldn't mind having company so we can learn together.

But I'm not surprised anyone else would have the same dilemma. You have green magic, right? I have no clue how you'd use that with ice cream. I had the same thought with my animal magic. Those two aren't exactly very edible types of magic. [ Though you could probably use green magic with fruits and vegetables maybe? Not exactly a common ingredient in ice cream of course. ] I guess you could always try to ask someone for help with their magic if you still wanted to do the quest, its just a matter of finding the right kind of magic.

But yes, I have green and cognitive magic. I've been able to make some foods taste better before, but I'm not sure if that counts for this quest. [ That'd just be too easy! ... and also easier if it were a sorbet, or fruit-based ice cream flavor. He's a little out of luck with chocolate malt balls. ] Can you think of anything, Rosho-san?
