[Guess who has been doing barely anything the past month, in part due to the fact that the people he knew are gone. Normally someone like Akechi would not care at all, but, well, he has to talk about it to some for of audience. Then he can go back to trying to win the hearts of the people (sic)]
For whoever who knew him, Akira Kurusu is gone. In fact...it might have been a while. I couldn't tell you exactly.
[He does, but he won't say that publicly.]
Is it wrong to consider it somewhat amusing irony if you were the only one left behind, so to speak, when your death a possibility in your own world?
One would think that of all the luck, he would have been the one forced to stay here. He was the big hero back home, after all.
I suppose I might need a new place to stay, or at least a companion as to not bore myself with.
[Wow. With an intro like that who wouldn't want him??]

anyway cool. i'm susie. a monster. cant miss me
[She'll send over the address of the arcade she intends to head to. It really is hard to miss a tall purple dinosaur(?)/dragon(???)/monster girl, because she's currently trying to shake a coin pusher machine to spit out some free change.]
Why isn't it working?! Dammit! [She kicks it. Little does she realise it's enchanted with anti-cheat features, so of course the coins aren't going to budge.]

[Super rude tbh, his villain speech was a lot more unhinged too bad he can't use Loki here.]
Literally or figuratively? I'll suppose I'll see when I get there.
[Far be it for Akechi to dress for this sort of thing, but he will be prompt to the arcade exactly two hours from when he said he would be there and...well it's not too hard to figure out who Susie is. Ahhh so literally, then. If anything, she is interesting.]
What are you trying to do?
[He knows, it's just another way to analyze what she is like. And also see if there's anyone close by who noticed.]
Goro Akechi, by the way. You must be Susie-san.
[Well, he looks like a nerd but appearances can be - okay no he looks like a nerd.]

Oh, but wait, he doesn't look like arcade staff, which is quickly cleared up when he introduces himself, so she soon relaxes.]
Yeah, that's right. [Isn't he kind of young to be a detective...? Well, whatever.] You didn't see anything.
lemme know if this works I can edit it and they can not get coins lmao
Besides, you're doing this the wrong way.
[He looks at the coin machine briefly.]
Allow me.
[He waits to make sure no one is really looking before he turns into a very small mouse-like creature. Small, but just the right size to enter the area where the coins are distributed. He disappears for a bit before, after a minute or two, some coins begin to spill out. Perfectly legal, you see, he is just inside moving the gears along as they should be moved with the gentle precision of very tiny hands. Not all of them, but enough to make things believable. He emerges just a short while later, making the coins still stuck in the distributor spill out, and changes back, dusting himself.]
They don't really clean up in there.
omg works for me!
[She watches, dumbfounded, as he just... changes into a mouse and goes into the machine??? And somehow makes the coins move? She's honestly impressed by the time he comes back out and coins are spilling out.]
Damn, dude! That was awesome. We'd better grab 'em quick. [She scoops up the coins, handing half to Akechi. It was her idea, but he did all the work, so it's only fair.]

We're just borrowing them anyway.

[She leads him over to the Road Conflict machine
which is just an Avalon Street Fighter knockoffand puts in a few coins.]We'll start with this, then you can pick a shooter or whatever. Ready?

[Not to mention the thrill of ill-gotten gains. No wonder the Phantom Thieves liked it so much.
He isn't quite a gamer like Akira, but Akechi's tour-de-force is he is quick to learn. He'll pick one of the closest characters to the top of the screen, assuming it's probably an easier one to play. Gotta start somewhere. The machine hums to life with the sounds of coins being dropped in and "Welcome to the Conflict!" in a deep voice as he joins as well, hands clasped at the joystick and looking at the arcade cabinet providing the information of all the possible moves his character could do.]
After this, either the most expensive shooter this place has, billiards or maybe electronic darts.
[Gotta sneak in the true Akechi classics.]

[She's already having fun, grinning when she locks in her character. Once the level loads and the fight starts she doesn't bother to even give Akechi time to figure out which button does what, rushing him down to start kicking his fighter into the air.]
Hope you weren't expecting me to go easy on you!!

[Shoot things gets points is easier than explaining all the rules of the balls. As much as normally Akechi wouldn't even bother, maybe Susie could be a prodigy, and not bore him too much.
For his part he has, due to picking the top left character the vanilla pick of the roster. He expected some attack, but not this fact and tries to keep his calm as he moves his joystick around, getting a taste for its weight. There were three rounds, after all, but Susie clearly had an early lead on him.]
I'd be insulted if you'd gone easy on me.
[With about 3/4th of his health bar down already, he manages to stick a counter in the air, before using one of the 'special attacks' displayed in the cabinet.]
