Is it wrong to consider it somewhat amusing irony if you were the only one left behind, so to speak, when your death a possibility in your own world?

One would think that of all the luck, he would have been the one forced to stay here. He was the big hero back home, after all.

I suppose I might need a new place to stay, or at least a companion as to not bore myself with.

Yet, whilst your presence here may be somewhat amusing and ironic in the context of your reality, why not see it as a chance? You can be the big hero here and defy the possibility of death that once loomed ahead.

In this realm of infinite possibilities, we are not forced to follow what roles our limited realities had assigned to us.

I agree. Some would argue it means there is 'nothing to lose' in that regard. Of course you could be one stuck here to face the consequences too. Irony does seem to be rather rampant.

I suppose it is a possibility. It would be much easier if I still had powers from back home, but thankfully I've been honing what I can use here.

Mhm. It's really a chance for all of us, I think. Rather than looking at it from a nothing to lose perspective, I prefer looking at it as a chance at a new and better.

That's the philosophy I have adopted in this place, anyway. And who knows, the day your friend comes back you may be hailed as a beloved hero here. That would be even more ironic and fun I'm sure, wouldn't it?
