For whoever who knew him, Akira Kurusu is gone. In fact...it might have been a while. I couldn't tell you exactly.

Is it wrong to consider it somewhat amusing irony if you were the only one left behind, so to speak, when your death a possibility in your own world?

One would think that of all the luck, he would have been the one forced to stay here. He was the big hero back home, after all.

I suppose I might need a new place to stay, or at least a companion as to not bore myself with.

That would depend if he understood and accepted the consequences. Accepting death, especially your own, isn't easy.

Well out of us, he would be the best candidate. That being said, who knows.

Not really. I'm not unhappy about it, though. But when you've accepted that you will and that you did die and it was your choice to do so, you aren't really going out with any regrets.

Besides, my friends aren't here.

Ahh I suppose when one has friends, it does mean you get to miss them.

Your luck might be better than mine in that regard...or some would argue worse, as they could be seen as a clutch holding you back since you yearn for their companionship.
