I do believe I can handle it! I have a night job, so my days are spent handling housework. Handling house chores clears my mind, so you can expect sparkling cleanliness and happy plants upon your return!

[Never in a million years could Hifumi arrive late on purpose - in fact he's always early. The last thing he wanted was to take up too much of someone else's time when they're probably busy with their own lives.

Hifumi is in a suit, per usual when he goes out to meet a stranger... and in general when he's uncertain of what he's getting himself into. And since he's in his suit, he might as well be sparkling, because that is absolutely what he seems to radiate when in suit.

When he sees someone approaching him, he puts on a big, bright smile.]

Greetings! Might you be the kitten from the housesitting ad...?

[She arrives not to long after him... and oh dear, he's quite the looker! Gigolo is right! If she was in the right mindset at the moment, she'd probably enter into flirtation mode.

Belgium herself was dressed in more or less casual wear. Which basically means jeans and a poofy snow jacket. His own smile is returned with a matching, bright and warm one. So very charming~!]

And thank you, it is going to be another busy month it seems. [There was a small chuckle in return.] Oh, and I'm sorry if I'm taking you away from anything. I just wanted to meet you in person first.

[Hifumi laughs softly, then shakes his head.]

I understand the importance of having one's own home well taken care of, so this meeting is of the utmost importance to me as well! The home is a person's safe place... and I can assure you yours is safe with me!

[He pulls out a chair for her, gesturing for her to sit.]

Please have a seat, and let me know if there is anything you think I should know about your home!

[Princess!? Now that does get a laugh from her.]

Hm, I suppose the first thing is that I'm an alchemist so I've got quite a few things there that might not be good for your health? Most of all of it's locked up and organized into cabinets. They'll all be in the room next to the master bedroom. If you do go in there take care as well. I'll also have some items and potions that I've been experimenting with, and there's no telling what might happen if you accidently get any of it on you, or ingest it. I also keep a variety of plants and herbs around the house, the more dangerous are kept in the lab and shouldn't be touched, everything else tends to be herbs, spices and such.

[She taps a finger to her cheek in further thought. What else... what else...?]

Oh-! Speaking of brewing I also make my own beer. They'll look like potion bottles but are kept in the kitchen. I don't know how much you enjoy drinking, but feel free to help yourself and let me know how you liked it.

[She's missing something else important though... Hm....]

[He is very intrigued by the things she's saying, nodding along as he listens, and taking a mental note of it all. ]

I will certainly take care not to get into anything that can be bad for my health! So don't you worry about that!

Such plants I can definitely handle! I grow some too! They'll be well taken care of and stay delicious for when you need them!

[She makes her own BEER Hifumi finds that cool! He is very obviously impressed, smiling at her.]

[He is absolutely trying to make light of the situation, since he's not sure about this sofa and is not sure he wants to ask. But still he laughs!]

But I understand! I'll be careful of the sofa!

It's not super dangerous or anything. But it does make you act kind of... weird while you're sitting on it.

It is really comfortable though!

Certainly! [He takes the seat beside her before he starts.] As you know, I'm Hifumi! Hifumi Izanami! I own a host club here called Enchantment, which I opened due to having many years experience as a famous host back in my world. [He truly isn't bragging... he's merely stating facts!] I was also part of a rap group, but unfortunately neither of my teammates are here anymore. One of them was a good friend of mine who was an incredible doctor, and the other was my best friend since childhood, now partner. [He says this kind of sadly, but he likes to remain positive, so it was a brief sadness.] People who aren't familiar what what a host club is tend to think of it as something distasteful, and while it can be, it depends on the host and the person, like anything else. I can only use myself as an example, because I truly am in it to bring joy and encouragement to customers who need it because they don't get it anywhere else.

[Since he's been going on for a bit long now, he moves on to finishing up.] And as I mentioned previously, I really enjoy housework. When I was living with my partner I wanted nothing more than for him to come home to a sparkling clean house with a wonderful dinner prepared. I even do it for the friends I live with now!

[Ah, that might also explain why she felt like she's seen him from somewhere else! He was part of that club thing. Not just part of it, but also the owner!]

Something like that! There are some villagers that need help and I'm part of the group that was asked to go give them aid.

Anyway, I'm going to be busy with that and won't be able to stop by the city for a little bit. I... can't really say much more about it than that right now. Or at least I don't think I can.

Perhaps, but moreover, I've experience with these fiends, having fought off a bandit horde of them not long after I arrived here.

So did I, they're quite the persistent type. Good at skirmishing and holding their ground. Beyond that, they also tend to be very opportunistic.

[Good at causing shock, getting in and out quickly, as should be expected of highwaymen. She wondered if the village had experienced hunters among them.]

They're basically bullies. [There was a pause filled with ellipses as she typed and re-typed her next words. Did she want to drag someone else into this? Maybe she shouldn't have said anything.] ...Do you have experience training townsfolk?

I've not taken a squire of my own, but I can pass on Lancelot's teachings perfectly well.

[Having Gareth along would be a major boon! She can also handle herself, there was no doubt about that in her mind. But... her mind goes towards a bruised and battered Gareth after the tournament, people fighting, getting severely harmed, and worse for her. Then back towards attempting to cover it up behind the notion of thinking what she needed.]
