[This is a uselessness rating, right? Hijikata is totally fed up with everyone bashing King Arthur on AOL! Sure, he may not have made any noticeable progress on sorting out the time freeze situation, but from where Hijikata is standing the man is doing what he can, and besides he's simply been thrown here from beyond the grave, much like anyone else. So yeah, he's going to whiteknight him.]

He gets so much criticism, but what for? He went to the Forest of the Fisherking with everyone despite the danger, consistently worked hard to establish relations with Elphame, who've been leaving us hanging for the most part, fought the dragon alongside everyone else, etc.

Do you think he sucks because he got possessed that one time, or because he didn't kill the dragon single-handedly?

i think it's a show. like you said, we had to save him that one time. and he's literally told me to just go ask someone else when i ask him a question. what kind of king just shrugs and says "idk??" he needs a pr manager for sure.

merlin is 5/10 for me. at least the guy is more up front about what he doesn't know and not making a show of it. he actually answers questions more often than not.

merlin is way more into his follower count than anything else it's true. he actually offered me useful advice though so i got a bias [Also Merlin followed him back so Hikaru can't dislike a guy who has given him something. He's selfish like that.]

but arthur needs to stop meddling in other issues and then saying he doesn't know answers to questions about those issues. like no shit people are asking when you're the public figure?
