I know that they said we can't go back to our worlds, but is there any way to contact them?
I left at a bad time.
[Action; At the Welcome Feast]
[Tsuna sits at one of the long tables, pushing food around on his plate but not really eating it. He doesn't seem to have much of an appetite. He sort of feels like everything is all over the place and his mind is in a million different places. Part of him is amazed at wear he is and occasionally he glances around to take in the detail. Another part of him is taking in the crowd, trying to search for familiar faces and friends, and keep track of Gokudera. The final part of him pulls his attention down to his plate in the knowledge that he should eat but can't.
He's worried about what he left behind, who he left behind, if it's going to be okay that he's here and not there. It's a welling pit of worry in his stomach that makes it hard to enjoy his meal. He keeps checking his phone for what he hopes will be a positive response.]

What am I supposed to do?
text;
they don't care where they pull people from
it's never gonna be a good time for it
text;
Maybe there's never a good time, but there were better times than others.
no subject
what is it they say? hindsight is 20/20 or something
any time that they took you from you'll be able to come up with 10 other times that would have been better
whatever it was will probably still be there when you get back
no subject
That actually makes a lot of sense. And I guess there would have been worse times for this to happen to.
But I hope you're right about things still being there. It would be bad if it wasn't.
no subject
[ It was something he certainly understood, he couldn't fault the kid for that. ]

I was about to go on a really important mission. I have people counting on me.
no subject
or people counting on you because it's life or death?
[ there's a difference, clearly, even if waiting for someone to bring groceries home is arguably also a life or death situation... ]
no subject
It was definitely tense.
no subject
i mean i know it's not really my business
but are you being vague on purpose?
no subject
There's a bit of freaking out on his end of the phone.]
K-kinda yeah.
It's just. Really complicated and if I don't have to get people involved, the better.
But I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot here
no subject
at least i'm assuming you're a kid but maybe you aren't
it doesn't matter
if it makes you feel any better i'm pretty sure most of us have seen some wild shit
back home, other places, here...
you're not here alone, are you?
because it's usually easier if you have friends or something
you know, someone you can talk to
no subject
No, I'm not. One of my friends is also here.
I was going to check in with him
no subject
sure as hell beats being alone
i can tell you from experience places like this can be
i don't know a blessing and a curse, i guess?
you might see people you didn't think you'd see again
and you might meet some other pretty good allies too
we all need an extra hand sometimes
so if you ever need some back up just look me up or something
i'm guido mista
[ why was he offering? He wasn't entirely sure, but it felt like the right thing to do considering that he was pretty sure he'd been the bearer of bad news. ]

Tsunayoshi Sawada.
I really do appreciate it, thank you!
I kinda feel better about things now.

sometimes all you need is a little boost
