No, I didn't. That's just the truth. People in positions like that don't get those positions by asking how to get there. They usually get put there by the people they end up leading, if not by birthright.

[Even Naruto was managing to somehow forge his own path to becoming a candidate for the Hokage's position, and gods only know he never asked anyone what he needed to do to qualify.

But at the same time, except for the "killing armies" and comparing kings and emperors part, this sounds like something he'd ask. Trying to find out how to get an important sounding job without even knowing what he's signing up for.]

Listen, you probably mean well- [She's ASSUMING.] -or maybe your question is just hypothetical, but a knight, king, or emperor who isn't qualified for the position only ends up leading their people and the people they're meant to protect to misery.
