(This post is made purely for the sake of curiosity. And to distract herself and others from feeling ill.)

How many worlds do you think exist? Infinite? What about galaxies?

(Her Peko-Peko makes a soft sound, wings fluttering as she lands by Padmé for a treat.)

I accepted that other galaxies existed before I came to Avalon. I never considered a number, however, or how different they might be from the one I knew.

My home world is called Naboo. I've heard a little about Earth, but are there other planets that you call home?

That does sound lovely. If it's like this world... I can only imagine that being able wake up to something so beautiful feels like a dream.

( But... how do describe where she lives? )

I live in an area surrounded by mountains. It's a more rural area to one of the bigger cities, but the home I live in now is so full of life. There's never a dull moment. ( She smiles fondly. ) Even though the city is so close... We're surrounded by so much nature. Japan is such a lively country -- it feels like there's always something new to see. Though... I admit there's still a lot I haven't seen of it myself.

I'm afraid I took it for granted at times. Children often do that. Certain things seem like they will always exist, so it's easy to not appreciate them.

(If only she could visit Naboo once more...)

You seem like you're happy in that home. (Lively suits some people. She too loves the sounds of her little nieces running about her family's home.) Then you should. When you return, I mean. Travel can be inspiring.

I can't help but feel like that's a part of growing up -- learning to see the beauty in things. But, the world feels so much bigger when we're little, too. It can be a little scary.

( Tohru pauses at what she says next. )

... That'd be fun, but... I want to focus on my studies as much as I possibly can. I made a promise that I'd graduate high school.

( After that... she isn't so sure what she'll do. It's not something she's thought too much about. )

It must be. (She laughs softly.) Imagine how newborns feel! We just don't have those memories. Being born must be intensely dramatic.

(No wonder the poor dears cry!)

No, you should study. Once you've finished them, then you should travel. School is important.

( Tohru laughs a little in response. ) ... I can't even imagine, but... there's something wonderful about the idea of the world being so brand new - of being able to experience everything for the first time.

( But, Tohru is the kind of person that tries to see the best in everything. )

... I think you're right. Mom wasn't able to finish, so... she really wanted to be able to see me graduate.

New experiences are wonderful - or at least they should be. (If nothing else, they are lessons.) Your mother must be very proud of you. I would be thrilled if my daughter finished something I started.
