[ It has been a while since Weiss last posted on the network, and it was for a much serious concern. Now? Her video post starts off with a close up of her eyes, the scar that runs down the length of her left eye for all to see, before she sets her device down to show her non-close-up self, as well as her set up. Namely, a small plate containing a cute cream puff. Her background is a little blurry, but she seems to be in the kitchen, if one can make out the details of the shelves and tables and kitchenware in the back. ]

For the record, I know I'm a little late to the trend, but I got curious and tried to make a potion, anyway. Mostly because these cream puffs are so cute and delicious, but this is the last one from the box I got and I'm still not satisfied. It's a convenient way to try this potion out. And... I do have something to ask those who know more about these than I do.

Now, if we just add a small drop of this potion... [ With a dropper, she shows that she does, indeed, put a small drop of the potion onto the cream puff! Slowly, but surely, one side of the cream puff seems to get bigger and bigger, until a bump forms and the bump turns into another cream puff! With a crack, the two cream puffs split. And a soft "Oh, gods! It actually worked!" can be heard. That was Weiss. And then she lets out a little squeal because she's so excited.

... until she realises that she's still live. That's when she clears her throat. YOU SAW NOTHING!! ]

R- Right. They're so cute, I might make more... [ So much for acting serious! She was going somewhere with this! ] Okay, so, that was a success. I wanted to ask if there's anyone who's experimented with similar potions before? Is there anyway to make two of me? That, you know... isn't going to turn evil or try to take over my life.

Oh! [ Realising she didn't exactly give much context to that-- ] I just think work would be more efficient with two of me. I have nooo... evil agenda whatsoever! Please don't think I'm a criminal.

[ Sounds kind of sus, though, Weiss. (She really doesn't have anything bad planned. Oops.) ]

I suppose if the potion isn't well-made. It's happened to me before... It was temporary, too. Granted, how that happened was through an object, and not a potion.

[ Of course, the details of what happened when there were two of her during that specific time is something she'll keep to herself. ]

[ She's heard about some serious mishaps with the cloning spell, so she kind of just wants to keep Weiss on the line to see if it starts turning toward disaster soon. She's not even sure herself if it's so she can laugh or save her. (Probably one, then the other.) ]

I know you're teasing me, but I'm sure the universe needs more good, helpful, strong-willed, and intelligent young people.

[ You know. More her! ]

[ Maybe if they clone themselves, their clones can die back home and the real ones can survive in Avalon. Emerald chooses not to share her negativity for now and stick to teasing. ]

[ He's been softbanned to bed until he's better. He's not nasally anymore at least! But he watches her little presentation with interest, a short huff and shake of his head in amusement when she starts trying to explain it's not for evil reasons. ]

[ Suddenly, a sputter. A cough. Thankfully when he sneezes or coughs or something, he's not throwing down lightning bolts anymore. Just little sparks. ]

[ Weiss seems... tense, when responding to this. The "fun" in her voice is gone, replaced by a more snappier tone. ]

It's for efficiency.

I haven't here, but we have entire lessons on why attempting to clone yourself via potions or spells tends to end very badly for the people involved back home.

Ugh, everyone's saying the same thing.

It's not like it'll be permanent! After an hour or two, the other me will just disappear. [ She looks up, a finger on her chin. ] It sounds fool-proof.

[God, this girl would be the perfect target for a scam. Good thing Azul's too generous (and missing most of his magic).]

You hope it would disappear. And in my experience if something sounds fool-proof, it isn't. There's always the fine print, after all.

Use it on yourself? That's...I'm not so sure that's a good idea. Wouldn't having two of yourself around serve more to endlessly confuse other people just as much as it might help you out?

It's not like I'd be hiding what I did to everyone. Those at work would be with the other me, while I'm doing research and actually trying to make progress with it.

Then, when work is done and the potion's expired, everything goes back to normal.

[ Look, maybe Minako should be a little more cautious about proclaiming that so easily, especially when they don't know what kind of longterm consequences using the potion that way might have..

.. but it seemed perfectly fine when said friend did it, so Minako is pretty sure it should be safe for this girl too. ]

But.. you know, what are you planning on doing with it? It's weird when overexplain like that, you know! Is it really just for work? Or is it someone you can't share with anyone? [ Of course Minako is here for the gossip.

What else could anyone use a double of themselves for? I intend to have my double do work for me for the day, while I continue with my research and do some training.

I'm excellent with time management, but it's been rather busy lately at work. And I haven't made any progress whatsoever with learning more about this world's magic and what one can be capable of.

[ There's a pause, as if Minako is assessing the answer..

And, yeah, it sounds boring enough to be true. But it's not like she actually feels like discussing anything boring, so after a moment she lets out a hum of consideration. ]

Well.. are you really interested in what else you could use a double of yourself for?

[ Sasuke would be very interested in getting his hands on some of this potion. Duplicating food seems...well not exactly pointless, but not really his aim. He's wondering something similar to what she is: if he can duplicate himself. ]

How easy is that potion to make? I can see if it works. Seems worth the risk.

But I had to add some other things to it to ensure the quality of the double.

[ And as what she's shown? The cream puff isn't sentient and isn't trying to eat her! ]
