i studied fashion design at a prestigious art school in tokyo, japan, where i worked as a seamstress for an original clothing line, Paradise Kiss... i've also helped my sister (esteemed designer Kouda Mikako!!) with her internationally famous fashion brand, Happy Berry! ( ´͈ ᵕ `͈ )♡.°
i have extensive experience with sewing of all kinds and styles, can make womenswear or menswear, casual and formal alike... even some jewelry and accessories!
i'm also a pretty good photographer too for any aspiring models out there too hehe..... *˚✧[◉"]ԅ(˃̵▿❛⊂)

yup!! miwako's papa is a professional nature photographer. and my brother-in-law is a professional fashion photographer who often works with my sister's company and recently with my model friend caroline sometimes! cameras all over the place!!!

Hehe A-chan said he's gonna slap my face with a facemask because I eat a lot of junk food, and he does our makeup now. I know how to do like super basics!

I started off here without even real pants to wear since I came fresh out of a zombie play, I couldn't afford bleach and stuff yet. its expensive material at home, im sure its expensive here too
and the sewing machine i bought here is a cheap normal one, not industrial, so that makes a difference depending on the garment

i did meet a local tailor, tho, nice old man. he may let me use his strapper and awl and stuff cuz i dont have those yet. but good to start collecting supplies!!

in fact those are my favorite styles to sew ☆
i love vintage clothing (∗ᵕ̴᷄◡ᵕ̴᷅∗)՞ and paradise kiss specializes in gowns anyway, our designer george pulls inspiration from many eras... he has a rather princely aesthetic, himself! ♔♚♔°｡⋆⸜(ू˙꒳​˙ )
i personally like lolita clothes too so im very familiar with old fashioned patterns! a lot of victorian and rococo influence there~*✲ﾟ♕₊ෆ⃛⁺˚♛°｡⋆*｡
my friend isabella is the patternmaker for parakiss and she wears very edwardian-inspired outfits often, we share a special appreciation for antique lace hehe... plus we've taken so many fashion history classes together in school, she and george have taught me a lot~ ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ⑅)♡*✲ﾟ*｡

Oh, this is exciting! I feel almost daring having the chance to choose something a bit older in style without seeming out of place. Though I am unfamiliar with what Lolita might be, aside from the novel, but my dear, you are speaking my language. Victorian, Edwardian, and Rococo--simply lovely~ and who can resist a good lace?

Well, for a start, I could use a new coat, it being winter and all, and a coat makes a strong statement. A frock coat, perhaps, in a camel-tone, or something equally light. Although given your background, maybe something closer to a justaucorps may be fun? It's been ever so long since I've worn anything of the kind, and they are quite exquisite.

although i will say:
you should wear whatever you like at any time, even if you're out of place. if you're well-dressed, you'll stand out no matter what it is you're wearing, just by virtue of being stylish amongst normal people anyway, so you might as well wear what makes you happy ♥

my father is a nature photographer
but my brother-in-law is a fashion photographer
and at home i just take pictures for fun. i have a nice film camera there but here it's just this device, which is still pretty good!! ☆

i found a discount crafts store..... it's not great quality but it's wearable. im not charging much anyway.
