They said it's connected to something called the "River of Lost Souls". If this information does hold true, it is regrettable.

The forest is dangerous enough on its own. It is affected by the same curse as the Land of Rot. The life there has merely adapted to it. However, I travel it often, so I keep the necessary equipment on hand.

If the undead attack us, I will handle it.

I will. Until then, it's better to assume that a significant amount of the wards around the Land of Rot have been breached. I recommend convoys be used to ensure the safety of the refugees as they travel to Camelot.

Search teams will also be needed to locate the damaged wards and repair them. I will join in as soon as I am done searching the archives.

It's probably true.

Probably going to lead to New Camelot getting eaten by a giant sink hole or something. Then we're going to have to go on some crazy mission that will have us retrieve a magical lance, and use that to fight off some huge angry monster just trying to defend its territory.

What I'm doing isn't reckless! This mission is more for information. I won't be jumping in to do anything until I feel like I know what's going on with the most objective mindset. And even then, with more information provided, people are less likely to get wrapped up in a war that they didn't start. I'm gathering as much information as I can, and then I'm coming back.

I'm unable to fight at the moment, so I have to find other ways to keep people out of trouble. Gotta make myself useless somehow.

Good on you for doing what you can to help people. It's easy to rush in and cause damage, but it's not easy to heal people. That shit takes time and work for you and your patient.
