HEY GUYS!!! stop and drop whatever you're doing. i have a super important question for everybody. you know halloween's coming up soon..... and we have the halloween concert..... which i'm totes gonna go for again. i wanna perform!!! and i have a song and stuff planned out which is GREAT but i have one big problem

what.................. do i wear.

i have no idea what to dress as for halloween!!! if i was just doing the usual stuff i could do something fun and goofy but if i'm gonna be on stage and dancing it has to be something i can perform in!! so i'm coming to the internet for ideas to steal.

BASICALLY: what would be a cute halloween themed kind of stage outfit to wear? i wanna get one worked out soon so i can do some dress rehersals before the show. SAVE ME...

not that i'm saying you should put on one of those mascot suits or anything!!!
just something inspired by black cats! and maybe kitty ears!

OH THAT COULD BE REALLY GOOD... and plain black goes w/pink pretty well right? i could make the insides of the ears pink and have some rly pink chunky toebeans too LOL

i can already imagine it with the way you're describing it.. it sounds super adorable! black and pink combined is a classic, isn't it? and it's something that could be simple enough that you'd still have an outfit that's easy to dance in!

because no one wants to trip on the middle of the stage.. it'd be so embarrassing!!!

omg don't even JOKE. for like a week straight before the first time i went on stage i had nightmares literally every single night that i was going to trip on stage and fall over and die in front of everybody. genuinely the most stressed out i have been in my entire life, ever.

or was it just a regular nightmare that happened to be relevant to what was going on?

i don't anymore but back then it was super bad!!! it was my first time on stage so that's bad enough but i was ALSO the new member debuting so everyone was kind of laser focused on me??? and i knew i had to make a good impression so the pressure was ON IT. do not recommend in the least.

ya that's me! [ She's remarkably casual about it... ] i'm in a group of seven back home but since i got here i've been doing the solo thing! not that i rly have a choice lol

omg i'm not THAT cool!! compared to the others i'm defo still a newbie lol. i've basically just been going solo since i got here so i'm rly not THAT much more exciting than anyone else at the concert lol

i mean that's what you're gonna do at the concert, right? if you're getting up on stage that makes you just as much of an idol as me imo!

i guess i AM going to sing there, yeah...

but it's not like i've got the whole fame aspect to it, you know? if people know me here, then it's just because they're my friends!! same thing back home.. it just doesn't FEEL the same

have u ever thought about doing like a formal debut as a solo idol? or maybe teaming up with somebody? obvs doing an indie thing is pretty different from being w an agency and stuff but if you promote urself online here, you can get a decent following! i've been doing music and videos and stuff for a while and there's definitely way too many people who follow me for it to be just my friends lol

what i'm saying is: u can just go for it if u really want!! if it's something u feel rly passionately about i think u should just go ham and give it a shot

i read about other people making videos of themselves in this place, and i was thinking of making videos of me performing songs, but still..

omg of course it's not easy! even when things are going great, you've gotta work your butt off, nonstop! but imo if it's something you really love doing, then the hard work is worth it! you get to put smiles on people's faces and meet tons of cool new friends. like yeah sure it might not work out BUT it MIGHT!!

so why not just give it a shot? you've got nothin to lose!

i defo put a lot of time and work into it tho, but that's bc i want to! and it's not like i don't have time for other stuff. back home i was still going to school and here i work for naoto's shop and just kind of do whatever i feel like doing when i'm not doing idol stuff. i kinda feel like it's one of those things where you'll get out of it what you put into it, but how much you put into it is up to you?? if that makes sense???

it's just really different from how i thought it would be! whenever you see idols on tv, or read their interviews, they always make it sound like they have to put their everything into it.. and i thought that made sense!! since it takes a lot of work to be that amazing!!

but since i have important other stuff to do i knew i could never be one

oh for sure some people totally go in and give it 1000% all day every day. i could never do it like that, though! not to rag on the people who do cos i know they must be working SO HARD but i also think that giving every single bit of yourself to just one thing like that probably isn't good for you? you gotta be able to spend some time away from it and let off some steam. if not, you're just gonna majorly burn yourself out and it won't do anybody any good.

that's just what i think anyway though LOL

your opinion is super valuable since you're an idol you know?? i'm just surprised that it's even possible at all to not put everything into it and still be an idol

it could be like that in some places! everyone's worlds are pretty different even when we have some of the same stuff going on. but to me it's like... idk i guess if you had a friend who did art as a hobby but didn't spend 100% of their time all day every day drawing you'd never tell them they're not an artist, right?

well.. of course i wouldn't...

but that'd be more because i wouldn't want to be rude to them! if they saw themselves as an artist, then i wouldn't just want to completely ruin their self esteem by telling them they aren't one, right???
