( It's been a little over a week since the anonymous post was open to everyone and he had a rather unfortunate conversation with someone close to him. Asriel hasn't really sought company. it's true that chara, died - but it wasn't the monsters fault

when a human dies, a monster can absorb their SOUL and become really powerful. they were scared of monsters doing that, so a war broke out. monsters are really weak compared to humans, so they won the war and sealed the monsters in the underground

but....

chara came up with a plan to try to free everyone. they... died for that reason. so i could take their soul, and we could free all the monsters.

I suppose that explains why Chara didn't seem to mind their death. Although, I'm not sure how to feel if it was for the sake of saving other people. They shouldn't have to die to help others.

However, I'm not one to say something. I had a friend who did the same thing.

our plan didn't work, though

chara used my body to take theirs to their village, and people had thought that i had killed them. they attacked us, but... i refused to fight back. i didn't want to kill them. after that, the both of us died

was your friend... able to help others?

I see. How are you feeling? Are you going to be okay after telling me all of that?

And yes, she was. I'd like to think that she didn't have any regrets for saving all of us and she is at peace.

... i'm alright. a lot of time has passed since then. it used to make me a lot more sad and angry to think about it.

i'm... really glad she was able to do what she wanted to do but

i'm really sorry, too

losing a friend... sometimes, the pain ends up feeling like too much

But it's okay. It has been quite sometimes since then and I've coped with it.

i spent a lot of time regretting not doing something different then, but... it was partly because of my other friend, frisk, that monsters were finally freed. so even if it was really hard finally getting there, everyone can be happy

sometimes, we have to let our friends go

but as long as we remember the happier times with them - that's whats most important

It sounds a lot like what my friend would say too. She didn't any regrets on what she did even if it meant that she wouldn't see us again.

But I just hope that you, Frisk-san, and Chara-san are going to be okay.

It seems like you and everyone else involved deserve some kind of happiness. Especially after what you and Chara-san had told me.

It just seems like a pretty difficult world you two live in.

your friend is... really brave and strong. i know that she's gone in your world, but at least... you might be able to see her again here.

frisk will be okay. they get to be with a lot of people who really love them

it's not difficult, but... a lot of people have been trapped underground for so long

but, right before i left, they were finally able to go free to the surface

She is here. I must admit, it makes me a little happy and nervous to see her here because I don't know what will happen should she go back home.

But I'm glad to see that there was a positive ending for you. I just hope that it will continue to stay that way.

It seems like you and Chara deserve it.

if chara goes back home... i know what'll happen
so i think it's sort of the same
but i think that's why it's important to enjoy the time you have with her now

... chara and i didn't really get a happy ending

but it's okay
i know there isn't a way to change things
