( It's been a little over a week since the anonymous post was open to everyone and he had a rather unfortunate conversation with someone close to him. Asriel hasn't really sought company. He's used to being alone, after all. At the same time, he can't keep looking at the empty bed across from his. It's just gotten painful for him at this point.

He doesn't want to use video this time. Asriel doesn't really want to worry anyone. A part of him is even ready to settle into the woods until things blow over. If they blow over. )

and rainbows too! i finally got a chance to see them because i got to be here

but even though i dont have any pictures of my family here

i think thatd be nice to have something to be reminded of them

We should get you some pictures of stars and rainbows then! And well, I don't know about getting pictures of your family but oh! what if you drew them and hung them up so you can always see them?

and yeah like, for a long time it was just me and old edmee, but then i met a group of friends who are my family! and then i met my real dad! annnd then i ended up here. it'd be nice if Bertie or my dad showed up here though, i'd like to show them how cool this place is!!

chara wasn't my sibling before, either. but after we did meet, they became one of my best friends. sometimes, people don't have to be related to us to be family

And yeah! Well, I was from the swamp, and I went on a long trip to New York City to meet my dad! Along the way I met Bertie, Alia, Furlecia, Tiny Tony, and Marcellus! They're all my family now! I'm glad you found some family of your own!

( If there's any hesitance whatsoever on Asriel's end, it's only because he chose text for a reason. He usually likes having the face-to-face contact of video more, but it's felt a little rough with his best friend suddenly gone again. He doesn't really want to worry anyone by looking a bit down.

But, having them around as much as he has has reminded Asriel just how much he doesn't like being alone. He may be used to it at this point, but that doesn't mean he likes it. )
