[While the audio is being transmitted on purpose, the video feed seems unintended, offering only an impressive view of a ceiling. Yuber's impossibly deep voice rumbles from close by, over the sound of rattling bones.]

Chaos in this world is far too fleeting and easily ignored. It grows tedious.

[Rustling, then Yuber picks up the phone and for a moment the camera shows his face, flickering in and out of focus. His mismatched eyes are bright with bloodlust but he seems otherwise sickly, as if he hasn't eaten or slept in days.

He disappears from view after he places the phone down again.]

What is a creature of war to do with no war?

...Hmph. Actually, nevermind. Who cares what you people have to say? Nobody in this world has an answer.

If none of you insects will entertain me, maybe I should make some fun of my own.

[ She doesn't like the way he said "insects" there, but she can sympathize with his restlessness, too. Her own hand starts to itch in a strange way if she's not fighting, for long. And she doesn't lie to herself about having any useful qualities outside of being a killer. ]

New Camelot reeks of humans who have a history of hating those who are not like them. It is constantly agitating local creatures, causing them to attack and then acting in surprise when they do. The little king has no idea what he's doing, we just need him to wield Excalibur. Tell me, then, what about this city is so worthy of preservation?

[He won't touch on the fey, the fey are not weak and vulgar like the humans. He respects them.]

Don't get the wrong idea. I don't really give a damn about this city or its king. The only reason I got that medal back then was because I wasn't hesitating to cut down the mirror kings. I wouldn't have bothered to make the distinction between the real one and them. I just needed to cut. That was what I was there to do.

And cutting monsters is just something I happen to be really good at. It's nothing personal, against you, or for this town. It's just my line of work.

But honestly, it's kind of a pain in the ass to do so right now. I'd rather share a drink, if it's all the same to you.
