I never said you were lame. I did say shyness is cute! It has a different sort of appeal and some people are into that. There's at least two guys I know who thinks that sort of thing is the peak of moe.

But being too shy about a pick up line might make people think you actually are in love with them and that sort of misunderstanding is a pain to deal with.
