[As the recording starts, there's the faint sound of movement in the background as Gundham is exploring a bit of forest.]

So, as it seems our 'hosts' - if we can truly call them that - are intent on keeping us here, it would behoove us to acquaint ourselves with the surroundings. I will say that as far as prisons go, this is not the worst. However, I do have a question. Are any that can access this familiar with the local wildlife? I've been attempting to observe but having just arrived, I'm sure my scent is unfamiliar enough to have them on edge.

However... there is wildlife here. That in itself is... unexpected.

You know, the word arcane...? You don't really hear it a lot these days.

[ He stopped for a second, shaking his head a little before tilting his head slightly. ]

At least I don't, anyway, kind of makes you sound like you belong here.

Perhaps that is the mark of some deficiency on your part then. The arcane has long been the binding force of reality and will be long after these mortal shells are discarded. It is not the fault of others that you are simply blind to the machinations of the world around you.

[ For a second Mista didn't really know what to say, lips pulling into a thin line that almost made it seem like he was actually thinking about it. In reality he was trying not to laugh, a rather boisterous one finally forcing it's way out of his mouth. ]
