I need a charger. An electromagnetic induction charger, to be specific. Capable of charging a device wirelessly. My battery life is long, but it wasn't intended for extended use.

Induction charging started with small devices like phones but by the time I come from, they were powerful enough to charge larger devices. I'm looking for one that will charge my desk. (A sort of holographic tablet computer, if you don't know what I mean by 'desk.')

I know about electricity. The televisions and microwaves in hotel rooms use them via "plugs," and "outlets." And one should never stick metal into them or it's like being struck by lightning. [He's a fast learner! And Mitsuhide showed him the archives and encyclopedias and this world's version of google on the phones! Also how he got the PSA on "do not do:" which he was definitely tempted in order to take it all apart like guns.] But if your "electromagnetic induction charger" doesn't plug into the wall, like they do, where does it obtain its electricity?

Or is it that it converts the electricity into a different power source that is then conducted wirelessly?

I am completely bullshitting how these things work, I am not an engineer...

Property owner. Specifically, one who leases the property to be used by others, deemed tenants.

The induction charger itself plugs into the wall, or some other power source (such as solar), but the charge transferring from the charger into the device's battery is done wirelessly, by laying the device on top of the charger. Once physical contact is made, electromagnetism passes the energy from one to the other.

It depends on the landlord and/or the property in question. If you want a security system, someone to watch the door for thieves, etc., then you typically have to pay a premium. The lowest cost places you pay for the room and that's it.
