Well, I suppose that depends on what type of laser you would like to make. Probably the easiest would be a solid-state laser. You could provide the light source, then you would need a laser medium-- often a ruby, garnet, or sapphire-- which you could either purchase from a jeweler or have an alchemist make for you. Then, of course, you would need mirrors, and a special lense to focus the output of the light...
