So I have two announcements!

[Ren is dressed up as casual as one can without looking too cheap. He is a lord now, after all, so he looks after his looks even more.]

One is that the lands under my lordship are now opening for general public as far as "businessess" go. My lands have refugees from Lestari and they have made establishments to help with relaxation. Different sort of meditations, nice massages and anything you might have experienced during our stay in Lestari.

The area looks a lot like classic Japanese hot spring villages... soothing and relaxing as you walk around.

[His lands, however, still lack a name, but he's sure he'll come up with one eventually.]


My second announcement is that next month is once again Valentine's Day. This time, however, there will not be a concert - but Shining Karaoke might host of a Speed Dating & Friendshipping event. Who all would be interested in this sort of an event? There might also be other smaller events to celebrate love and friendship, of course.

[This is the second person she's heard of having a lordship. And using it to house Lestari refugees. It's very hard for Aerith not to feel extremely warm over such kindness.]

I didn't realise that lordships came with so much land. Is that normal?

[Zidane had made it sound like an estate at best. Maybe with a garden or two, but the way Ren is talking about it, it sounds almost massive. Maybe Aerith was just underestimating it.]

Aww, the lack of a concert is a little disappointing..

[ Apparently only a little bit though, since Minako doesn't even seem to linger on the fact. Instead she's just smiling as she speaks, like she's easily shrugging it off. ]

But I sure wouldn't mind making some new friends either, so I'd be totally up for it!

As far as I know, yes. I would think all the lands are the same size. Same for the small castles that come with them.

With our trip to Elphame and everything, I've had no time to make plans. However, maybe we could have an outdoor summer concert?

[He does yearn to sing, so a concert nearby would be great at least.]

Great. Of course, it would be an honor if the Goddess of Love herself could help with the arrangements~

Honestly a spa sounds more than wonderful right now.

Also, if you do setup a Valentines event I could do a bit of catering for it.

I can definitely recommend ours. I've visited them quite a lot since I live here.

That would be great. My kitchen staff is full of natives of this world, so they don't really know what Valentine's day even is.

As for Valentine's it makes sense they wouldn't know anything about it. Or have anything similar. But that shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying some delicious chocolates or comfort foods! Anyway, yes I'll be sure to keep some openings for you next month then!

I guess that didn't occur to me. I only know of one other person who was recently titled and though he talked with me a little about it, I haven't gotten to see it myself. Of course, I guess it's possible other people I know have titles too and I just haven't realised it. Either way, I'm sure the Lestari are very thankful!

[ A summer concert apparently sounds fine to Minako, considering she's widely smiling.

Well, I sure don't mind helping set things up! [ Especially since she's already working there anyway - might as well help spruce things up for a special event, right? They can have Valentine's decorations! ] Although I'll have to skip on the dating part of the event, I'm a taken girl now!

[ There's definitely some pride in her voice as she says that part. ]

Not all of us choose to advertise our titles. Also we were given the choice to say no to receiving lands. I can understand why someone would refuse; it's quite a lot of work.

[Ren luckily had some experience for running a karaoke place.]

As long as they're comfortable living here, I'm satisfied. So far I've heard no complaints.

[ Not that there's really anything about that fact that should make it obvious, or should make it involve an 'of course'.. yet Minako says it so naturally. With so much confidence. Like it just feels natural that things would have ended up this way, now she's thinking back on all of it. ]

Shouldn't that say enough by itself? [ Especially since Minako knows Ren knows Monika, making it a whole lot easier to just mention her name, without having to explain too much.

Still, she winks, in that usual overdramatic way of hers. But she does seem genuine happy as she does it too. ] I'm sure you can now understand that I'm actually the lucky person here!

I didn't know you didn't have to accept the land either. It would be a lot of work, depending on the size. It sounds like maybe the amount of land given is the same for everyone who gets that title of 'lord' or 'lady.'

[She doesn't know nearly enough lords or ladies to really have a better understanding.]

Sounds like you've got plenty of hands on deck if you need it, though. I offered to help a friend of mine with his land, but I think only for a botanical garden. I'm not much of a decorator otherwise.

Actually, come spring it would be wonderful to have some flowers around the lands. Especially if you know some that would possibly be beneficial for herbal teas?

Do you imagine any reaction other than Minako squinting her eyes a little before she starts to grin. ]

Of course. Even if it took me a while to admit it.

[He smirks.]

But he's not my only partner.

[ There's so much to unpack here, and Minako is definitely not ready to unpack that last part yet when she's still very much busy with what comes before it. ]

Why did it even take you so long to admit it in the first place? Wasn't it totally obvious to everyone how you two were basically making heart eyes at each other all the time?

... you just tried to give me a mental image of Camus with heart eyes. That doesn't really work.

[Somehow the image is actually rather terrifying.]

I was sure he wouldn't like me that way even if I admitted it. But... well, I guess I just had to get drunk and cling to him all night to get courage to actually tell him about my feelings in the morning.

You weren't the only person obvious in love! [ Please, this was so not a one-sided sort of thing. Not from her point of view, anyway. Even if Camus might not make heart eyes on the outside, Minako could tell just from the way those two looked at each other. ] You aren't going to tell me that a super attractive guy like you is actually totally oblivious to it when people like you?

[ Minako lets out a sigh.

I suppose, I'm blessed with the looks and the charm, but not the ability to see myself ... loved.

[There's a weight under that admission, but a bright smile following the sentence as if to shove it away.]

But all's well that ends well, right? It all worked out.

Basically you sit down with someone and you have a certain time to ask questions from each other. We will be providing some example questions on the tables, but you can come up with your own questions. Once time's up you change partners and repeat it until everyone has talked with everyone.

[It's very simple, really.]

One of the events is for potentially looking for someone in a romantic sense and the other is just to find friends.

Of course. Very high quality towels as well. Would probably impress Hikaru too.

[ Though there's not quite as enthusiastic of an answer on Minako's end as there usually would have been. After all, Ren just said something that's.. well, it's pretty heavy, to say the least. ]

I'm glad you found someone who loves you. [ Multiple someones, even, from the sound of what Ren said only just earlier. ] Though I think it's seriously weird of you to not realise why people would like someone as charming and nice as you.

Springtime is the best time to plant flowers, in my opinion. That way you can admire them all through summer and fall too. Better if you plant the ones that come back year after year, too. I'm almost positive I know of some that can be used for tea, too. It'd give you a good reason to hold onto the petals when you're pruning.

[In short, yes, this is definitely something she could help with.]
