Apologies for being... One of many new posts, and I'm sure it's a question that's been asked before, but...

[The man on the video trails off for a moment, hesitating.]

I'm unfamiliar with this "cognitive" type of magic - things like elemental and kinetic seem similar to magics from my home world, but I can't say I've experienced anything like this before.

[So, of course, he has to end up it! Seems just his luck.]

So if anyone with any experience has any tips on... How to control it and how to improve, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not sure what I can offer in return just yet, but hopefully we could come to an agreement?

Regardless, thank you for taking the time to... Watch this.

The best way to practice cognitive magic so far has been finding a person who is alright with you poking at their mind. Maybe even another cognitive user, so you can aid one another. It's useful to figure out what it feels like when it's used on you, after all.
