[There seemed to have been quite a few unexpected and sudden things happening today. Anri had been doing her best to respect Baiken's wishes as best she could, gauging where she could and couldn't touch. What could be comfortable and what wasn't. It was her stopping that had caught her attention first.]

Mm... what wrong--

[Her eyes followed the now loose cloth that had fallen away. Ah, that's it. It was difficult to make things out in the dark like this, even under the bright winter's moon. But she could still make out details. Her mind needed a bit of time to process what she was seeing before the soft hand that had been gripping her wrist slowly reached out to press fingers along it. There were obvious questions that floated through her mind, all bottled under worry. The spirit studied the old wounds for a moment longer. More familiarity growing in her mind along with a bit of bitter sadness.

Soon the hand that had been running itself along those scars reached up to gently stroke Baiken's cheek before Anri propped herself up, taking her other hand away to give the woman a kiss, soft and soothing and still sweet as before. Her attention not on the scars themselves, but on the person that carried them.]

...I'm sorry.... [She breathed out warmly against her, voice as soft and comforting as she could make it. There wasn't much else she could say or do about what she saw, or what had been revealed through accident. But she could at least show that she wasn't put off from it. That the mood hadn't been ruined in the slightest. It did make her lean in closer once more. To hold Baiken softly even if she became rough. Just to make certain that the woman felt that everything was alright and would be.]

I'm sorry, Liefde....
