[Text]
I know that they said we can't go back to our worlds, but is there any way to contact them?
I left at a bad time.
[Action; At the Welcome Feast]
[Tsuna sits at one of the long tables, pushing food around on his plate but not really eating it. He doesn't seem to have much of an appetite. He sort of feels like everything is all over the place and his mind is in a million different places. Part of him is amazed at wear he is and occasionally he glances around to take in the detail. Another part of him is taking in the crowd, trying to search for familiar faces and friends, and keep track of Gokudera. The final part of him pulls his attention down to his plate in the knowledge that he should eat but can't.
He's worried about what he left behind, who he left behind, if it's going to be okay that he's here and not there. It's a welling pit of worry in his stomach that makes it hard to enjoy his meal. He keeps checking his phone for what he hopes will be a positive response.]

What am I supposed to do?
Re: [action]
He blinks at the next question, not expecting to be called out like that.]
There’s so much to worry about, Tenth... But I think it’d be better to focus on what can be done for the good of everyone back home.
[His communication device is still in his hand and he glances at it.]
So... you said something about being in the future... [Tsuna may notice that his right hand man is only wearing one ring of importance and the others are mere costume jewelry by comparison.]
[action]
Y-yeah, about that...
[He glances around, just to see if anyone else is around or paying attention. Not that it's a big deal if anyone over hears really, but he's been reluctant to talk about mafia stuff.]
What's the last thing you remember?
Re: [action]
We had celebrated our Victory from the Ring Battles, and then Reborn-san went missing. You, me, and Haru split up to go looking for him.
[action]
Right. Well, I thought about asking Lambo because of the ten-year bazooka, but we were struggling for it and it went off and sent me into the future.
You weren't too far behind me, but for whatever reason, it didn't send us back. We were stuck there.
[He'll pause for a moment, to let that information sink in.]
[action]
So you found Reborn-san, then?
[He chews the inside of his lip a little and looks off to the side, clearly berating himself for something before bowing at his boss.]
I'm sorry that I'm not there to help! Hopefully that ten years later version of myself was adequate! If there's anything I can do... [He knows that his boss probably will not spoil his future for him, but at least if he showed up in the future as well, then he can help! He has to help! It's what a right-hand man is supposed to do!] Please don't hesitate to ask.
[Honestly, it's probably a lot more complicated for most people to handle, but Gokudera is pretty good at taking things in stride
and over-analyzing and jumping to conclusions after the fact][action]
Yeah, we did. The future's kind of a scary place.
But I actually only met the ten years later version of you for a few minutes before you, like you now, arrived. I don't know how much had changed.
[Other than being taller. And older. Tsuna will probably hold back the part about the coffin.]
Re: [action]
Everyone seems to be in some kind of agreement that their home world does not change with them missing. [He motions his attention to his communication device for a moment and gives a nod. Gokudera doesn't want to make his boss uncomfortable by talking about whatever pressure he was under in the future. He found the Tenth, and if they eventually met up, then no matter what, he's sure they would have been on the path to victory.]
There's not much that can get in the way of the Vongola, Tenth. I'm sure it will be alright if it's on pause.
[action]
That's what people have been saying, so I'm trying to believe it.
We'll just have to count on Hibari-san and Yamamoto for the time being, otherwise.
[And he does take comfort in that. He can depend on both of them.]
[action]
I wouldn't, but then, if time is paused, it will be like we never left and we won't have to worry about or count on either of them!
[Too much pride in his boss and his own placement within the family means that their Rain and Cloud Guardians can just... worry about whatever it is they want to in the meantime. It's not like it matters to Gokudera.]
[action]
[Well, a few people if he includes Ryohei, Lal Mirch, and Reborn. But at least everyone else will be safe for the time being.]
For now, we'll just have to stick together.
[action]
[He puts out his cigarette and looks off over the grounds.]
I've heard we have magic and familiars, too... but I'm not so sure everyone gets those things. [Meaning he's feeling a bit left out. He isn't going to complain at his boss, though... that would be rude, and there's not much Tsuna can do as far as helping Gokudera realize his magic or find his familiar.]
[action]
[Try as he might, he hasn't been able to activate his flame. It's a little disconcerting.]
We'll have to look into it more.
Re: [action]
Hearing his boss is unarmed gives him a little more concern, so he reaches behind him,] You don't have any weapons, Tenth? Here, take some of these! I can always make more. [He sure is offering a handful of dynamite sticks.]
[action]
[Not that he's actively tried to go into Hyper Dying Will mode but still. Of course that thought is put on hold when he's handed the dynamite.
Which is nearly dropped in surprise.]
W-w-wait...are you sure? I...I mean it seems pretty safe here.
Re: [action]
For right now, Tenth! But usually that changes without warning.
[action]
I wish I could say you were wrong but we both know that would be a lie.
[And he's fairly certain Reborn's not even here to cause that shift.]
Re: [action]
It's just a fact of life, Tenth.
[Some sage wisdom from a very immature boy.]
[action]
Still, he's going to stick with his friend.]
What do you think we should do now?
Re: [action]
The only thing we can do, Tenth. I think we should try our best to fit into this world and do whatever we can to keep Namimori, and the rest of the family safe. If our world is in trouble, than it doesn't matter which part we came from... it's the whole world and all points in time within it.
If we have to learn magic to make us stronger, then it's just one more goal. So, if we have somewhere to stay, [He nods his head towards where they'll be lodging] we can take on quests to grow stronger. It's just like a video game! [That's probably the easiest way to think of things. Besides, Gokudera's been through something like this before he ever met his boss. It's just like living on the streets of Italy, except that now he won't be alone. The bomber thinks that this shouldn't be difficult at all.]
[action]
It's times like these that he misses Reborn. But he's got to press on so he can get back to everyone else. And then get back to the past.]
Then the best thing to do would be to get a place to stay. We'll start there.
Re: [action]
Easy.
It seems like there's a lot of space in Camelot for us to stay. I think a lot of people are taking residence in the inn?
[action]
The feast is kind of wearing me out.
[He is very tired, and he has a feeling he might be up all night thinking about everything as well.]
Re: [action]
[Like it or not, Gokudera suffers some insomnia, so he'll be doing whatever he can instead of sleeping.]
[action]
[And he knows Gokudera is going to push himself]
[action]
I’ll do my best, boss.
[He honestly will try, but he anticipates it won’t be easy to catch sleep, and if he does, because this place is unfamiliar and he’s not aware of what sort of dangers they can encounter, it will be fitful and light at best. Here’s hoping, though.]
