Well, where I'm from, we don't actually have humans! We have people, but they're all a species of animals. Most of the people I know are ducks, or at least a bird of some kind, but we also have dogs, and cats, and bears...

[ Her question has him pause for a moment, thinking. Then he nods slowly. ]

I think so. One thing I've noticed being here is that, despite some differences in the details of our different worlds, there are a lot of similarities too. People, no matter who they are, have similar thoughts and feelings, wants and desires, hopes and dreams...The fact that we're all here and can come together, and work together, means something.
