Hey people.

[The man in the dark shades waved coolly at the screen as he sat on the edge of a small stone fence. It was freezing cold outside but in spite of the clouds that appeared whenever he spoke Crowley didn't seem to notice.]

We've all been brought here, had our powers taken and dolled out to us again in much smaller pieces... it's inconvenient, like being trapped in a baby walker... or trying to save the universe with your hands tied behind your back.

Point is, I need some volunteers who are skilled with Light magic, Healing magic, Animal magic, Kinetic magic and maybe another Elemental magic user who thinks they would be up to controlling sand. Think of it as training.

Also Angel, meet me on the Inn roof before midnight. Not sure it would work with an angel and a demon but if it does we could use some good luck for the new year.

[He doesn't know about the fireworks. Those are going to be a nice surprise.]

Are you serious? Those things are a lot more stubborn than I thought! [Although, he can’t blame them for wanting to defend their territory. With that, he had to think of a plan.]

How about this, can you fire around the hole to scare them into moving? [However, based on his words alone, he wasn’t even sure if that would be enough.

[He has no idea how to explain it and hopes Crowley gets it.]

Then you can cover the lantern or uncover it depending on how much light you need.

(Harry isn’t sure of Crowley was joking around or not, pouring sand over a wooden frame. Still, he carefully lifts up the sand pile towards the wooden frame and have it pour all over it.

Probably the weirdest training request so far.)

Yeah! Or I could fire explosives off into the sky and make my own fireworks or something.

[He doesn't have to blow something up, sometimes an explosion just for the sake of it is nice. The destruction can be satisfying, but also so is the thunderous noise and the light.]

I think I'll figure out how to get some clearance with them before I go blowing anything up. Something tells me there's a lot aside from the fae I could piss off... [Like some kind of slumbering dragon or golem or... something.]

[ Hey, that was unexpected. Crowley was thinking Mr. Anonymous would stay that way. Now it turned out he was a kid. So many kids in Avalon... If he were in the mood to think deeply on that Crowley might have wondered why that was. ]

I've never found that awkward.

[ But then he liked to be flashy. ]

[ A sinister smile slowly spread across his demonic face. ]

You are in for a treat. Might be a good idea to bring a helmet.

When, now, where... Follow the road out of town that leads towards the white cliffs. There will be a small farm on the right. Look for massive holes in the ground.

[ This demon and fire went hand-in-hand. It was in fact the first elemental power he had relearned. ]

But if I do that won't they just pop back into the ground?

[ He had an idea what the kid meant by 'old-timey lantern' and in his mind's eye it turned into one of those handheld styled ones that train conductors used to use. Further thought on the subject jogged his memory enough that he popped out of the greenhouse and into the cottage to the backroom where a bunch of old things had been stored. After a glass shattered crash, a loud curse, and the loud clanking of a metal bucket Crowley reappeared holding a lantern from it's handle. ]

Something like this? The former owner left it behind when he moved to town. I don't see any reason why we couldn't use your enchantment idea on it.

[ There was a plan behind the odd request. Crowley was just surprised to see it work and so easily. Some of the sand did tumble from the structure to form little sand castles, as sand was wont to do, but the majority of it stayed where the Potter kid had moved it. ]

Just hold it there for a minute.

[ The rest was on him as he dramatically gestured at the sand covered structure causing flames to lick up from the ground as hot as anything one might find in Hell itself. The sand grew warm in the flames, turning red and glowing, until each particle melted into a thick goo which flowed and hardened over the framework as the flames died down again. The molten sand gradually hardened into crystal clear glass and a greenhouse was born where there had been nothing before. ]

Now I think we can call your training done!

(Oh Merlin, how is he able to make all that glass so quickly, he is stunned, though not too upset. Just shocked that he partially helped in making a greenhouse. Not that he was tricked into doing something naughty.)

Wow, so this is... what the training is about: getting to make a greenhouse of all things? That is the most interesting task/request someone has asked me to do in ever.

You could be a one man fireworks show.

[ An idea which appealed to Crowley more than mining really. Fireworks could help to liven up a party. If he were ever in a situation where there was a party that needed more color then he would know who to call. ]

Mmm, yeah, quaint.

[ Internal screaming. He was edgy not QUAINT! He didn't bother to argue this as he was currently standing in the middle of a field, in behind a cottage and surrounded by wildflowers... in a setting one might mistakenly think was quaint. ]

[ He has seen Romans make glass and so long as he avoided letting it cool too quickly it didn't seem that difficult. He wouldn't have wanted to try to make a bottle out of it though, glass blowing was a skill! ]

[ That was a strange reaction but hey, he would run with that. ]

Yea, greenhouse. Just having powers isn't enough, you ought to know how to give them a practical use.

Okay, I see now. That probably makes sense to make good use for them in everyday tasks.

[He suspects with them being close as they are, the angel is like to side with the demon though an angel getting along so well with a demon is as curious if not more curious than a vampire hunter living with and half-way getting along with a vampire, but he sees nothing wrong in playing around a little bit longer. [Being Italian, Gokudera's seen a few of those, but he never actually was able to go to them. Being homeless never earned him much favor with anyone.

He's on his way, though. The boss has been out and about, and Gokudera may sort of stalk him, but he knows better than to completely smother him with attention when they're living together now.]

[And sure enough, approaching the cottage is the young man on the network. He's knocking at the door, but has the video still on, certain it looked like the man he'd spoken to had been outside. He'll turn the video off once he actually sees Crowley.]

[You know what. Why not? That's hardly the strangest thing he's heard since coming here.

I have never tried it myself but I don't garden a lot. [Though he has occasionally cut branches of flowers to put in a vase.] So I will have to take your word on it.

[He doesn't even sound like he's mocking anyone. While he's not planning on trying he sounds like he's taking all this in stride and accepting it as a form of truth.]

Well, since your usual methods aren't working I can give it a try. It would be good to know if I end up trying to grow medicinal plants.

(Probably the wrong answer, but at least he knows what a greenhouse is for, since he still has Professor Sprout’s Herbology lessons still simmering in his head, although Neville clearly is better than him in the subject matter.)
