I'll be expanding services at the Ambassador's office to support more extensive magical training and assessment. [a small gesture:] I've prepared a number of totems to the Red Spring with the express intention of taking advantage of the sanctioned training areas, and I've a few rubrics drafted for testing different magical properties and effects.

[a beat.]

I doubt I need to impress the need for a more disciplined, responsible approach to the cultivation of your magics at this point. So if you wish for an experienced outsider's perspective, you need only visit when the office is open. My only ask is you provide the totem to return yourself, lest I run out of supplies on my end.

That said, those who wish to see the calamity with their own eyes are still welcome to drop by, as that is my primary occupation. What better motivation for magical self-improvement, yes?

We need to be better organized and prepared whenever the next threat arises.

At this rate, we've had more than enough time to do so. [looking askance:] But it can be easy to dismiss the burden of responsibility when one is not accustomed to such...circumstances.

It can indeed.

[ There's a slight pause before her next message. ]

Nonetheless, we can't change what has already happened. All we can do is ensure that we've learned from this tragedy, and do everything within our power to avert the next disaster.

[sighsheavily]
